The first training in the Fundamentals of Research Writing had nearly 80 participants from across Uzbekistan, but many teachers wanted to attend who were not able to make those days. On 11-14 July, Dee Broughton will present a second 4-day training on the same topics. This training is open to all interested writers and educators.
Participants should arrive ready to listen to lectures, take notes, and engage in discussion. This fundamental training is not “hands-on,” rather it provides foundational information needed for engaging in any academic research writing.
Familiarity with the writing tasks in B2 Ready will be helpful. See activities 6-7, 9-13, 15, 17, 23, 25-26, 29, 38-39, 44-45, 49-51, 53-56, 61, 64-70.
The training will be held beginning at 9AM, 11 July, at Uzbek State University of World Languages.
